Lake Blausee, Switzerland

⛰️ on the next day of our visit to the Bern region in Switzerland. We visited the stunning Lake Blausee @switzerland @interlaken

🐟 This gorgeous lake really is as blue as the pictures show - no editing I promise! Blue, crystal clear and indescribably beautiful – that’s the Blausee. One of the most beautiful mountain lakes in Switzerland which is in the Kandertal Region of the Bernese Oberland. There is a gorgeous hotel & restaurant on the banks of the lake. After a walk around the lake path which meanders through the forest area talking a ton of photos we ate lunch at the restaurant which served fresh trout from the local trout farm which was exquisite. This really was such an amazing experience I wish he had a night at the hotel to take in the views again for a second day!

🚃 The trip was focussed on Swisstainable travel using the Swiss Travel Pass which is just fantastic. Over 4 days I travelled by train, bus, boat, cable car & vernacular all on my Swiss Travel Pass.
